Love Is A Stranger was the Eurythmics breakthrough hit, reaching number 6 in the UK charts in 1982.
They went on to have a string of UK Top 10 hits in the 90s, though only one Number 1 (and no, it wasn’t Sweet Dreams!).
I was lucky enough to see them live a number of times in the mid 80s and they were excellent!
