Depeche Mode are one of the biggest bands to ever emerge from the UK and are still preforming to sold out concerts all over the world today (I was lucky enough to see them live at the 02 in London a couple of years ago, and they really are brilliant!).
Just Can’t Get Enough was their highest charting single from their debut album, but even though they were new, it’s evident from the video that they were going to be big.. really big!
Interesting fact 1: they never had a UK number 1 single, but they do have loyal and devoted followers across the world.
Interesting fact 2: I bumped into and chatted to Martin Gore at a nightclub in Gothenburg Sweden in the late 80s, when DM were touring there. He was all by himself with no entourage and very nice and personable!
